Jessica + James Journeyman Distillery Wedding

Jessica and James beautiful August wedding with a Catholic ceremony. Such a fun day. It was killer hot and we were all so thankful for the A/C in the flat and we were able to stay inside and take pictures in the cool air… but also WAY COOL architecture. So fun having this stunning Three Oaks Michigan venue so close to home.

Sweet Bella. This beautiful high school senior was once my neighbor and I BABYSAT HER. And now she’s graduating high school. Does that make me old? The kids I babysat are graduating????

Back in 2009 I was in the beginning days of my photography journey. I took a film photography class. I carried my dad’s old 35mm film camera with me everywhere. I was at the park with Bella and I snapped a darling photo of her sitting in a playground tube. (I have the negative still. I should reprint and share!).

And this summer I got to take her senior pictures for her 13 years later. I love when life comes full circle like this. These moments are beautiful and I am trying not to take them for granted.

Dana + Trenton were so fun, lovable and goofy! It was beautiful to witness them commit to each other on such gorgeous day at Fernwood. The way they laughed together, 🥰 the way Dana smiled at Trenton 😍 how Trenton would look at Dana with admiration 😻. It was all so adorable and I love that capturing love is my job.
