As you might have read in my previous post, it poured on Chris and Flory's wedding day. Chris had proposed to Flory on Silver Beach overlooking the pier. I was feeling quite empathetic because if it had rained on my wedding day, I would have been devastated! I quickly offered to do a quick make up session so they could have their dream beach pictures. So this is our post wedding session, we had a blast!Read more
I have never met such troopers! Chris & Flory were in good spirits the whole day despite the fact that their wedding day came with lots of rain and freezing cold temperatures. Getting married in April is risky business in Michigan. They didn't get the Silver Beach pictures they were hoping for, but the rain let up just enough to give us a small window for outdoor pictures. Cyrus and Mackenzie wanted a destination wedding. When the Minneapolis based couple started doing their destination wedding research, they stumbled upon St. Joseph, MI. They thought, and I agree, St. Joe has everything you need to create a "Caribbean" inspired destination without the Caribbean high costs.
Their whole wedding was wonderfully sweet and intimate. But Cyrus and Mackenzie were the sweetest part. Watching them love each other and their little girls was the most inspiring part of the day. I wish them the best in their marriage together!
