I texted Amanda a couple hours before our scheduled session and told her it looked like it was going to be raining. I gave her the choice to reschedule or proceed with our scheduled time. She choose to keep the session even if it meant it might be raining. I love these types of brave and bold clients! Seriously the best. Well it rained… I mean poured for the first 20 minutes. The pictures don’t do the amount of rain justice. Then we decided to drive down to New Buffalo Beach. The clouds parted, the sun peaked through, a rainbow appeared. It was magical, beautiful and inspiring. Guys, great risk, great reward. The next day I found out a tornado had touched down during this storm about 45 minutes away from us in South Bend! So crazy! Enjoy these!Read More
While I'm in a blogging mood, I may as well get this gorgeous Warren Dunes engagement session loaded up too! I'm so excited for Eric + Kayla's wedding at Tabor Hilly Winery this fall!
I have never met such troopers! Chris & Flory were in good spirits the whole day despite the fact that their wedding day came with lots of rain and freezing cold temperatures. Getting married in April is risky business in Michigan. They didn't get the Silver Beach pictures they were hoping for, but the rain let up just enough to give us a small window for outdoor pictures. I loved getting to know these two over the last year. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL COUPLE! Inside and out. SERIOUSLY. There was so much love every where they went.Read More
I know I've already taken their wedding photos and started posting those, but better late than never, right?! :)

W + C were the easiest and sweetest couple I've photographed in a long time! In just the 45 minutes I spent with them I can see they are tender hearted and passionately in love!
